Do Christians Kill?

Gospel of Peace

The teachings of Jesus Christ and His Gospel of Peace is the Foundation of Truth,
through which every True Worshiper of God must filter the world.

Surely, no concept is more repulsive to a God of Peace, though satisfying to the prince of darkness, than that of “holy war” or “righteous war”, and the death, by violent man, of cherished, purposeful, created living souls.

How preposterous is the notion that “God is on our side”, as both sides, with similar belief, act in the most ungodly manner. So what separates, or sanctifies, the true Christian from the atheistic man of death and destruction?

Could the commandment of God be any more clear; “Thou shalt not kill.” (Exodus 20:13 KJV) Who bestowed on man the right to take another man’s life — a precious living soul, made in the image of God? Surely, the agents of darkness bring no glory to God on High with this action, for it is written, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV)

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy… Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:7-10 KJV)

Death is final. No act of loving kindness brings death to another, but for sure, at such point, any future attempt to spread God’s Word to that “perceived” enemy is now lost.

We encourage Christians, a peculiar people, zealous doers of good works (Titus 2:14 KJV), peacemakers, to claim the blessings of scripture as faithful children of God. We serve a loving Lord and Savior, and our Heavenly Father, not the angry god that the world serves, but the God of Peace. (Romans 15:33 KJV)

Please the Lord

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8 KJV)

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:21 KJV)

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:26-27 KJV)

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. (1 John 3:15 KJV)

And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. (Luke 6:28-29 KJV)

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you (John 15:12-13 KJV). Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good (Romans 12:9). And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:9 KJV)

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; (1 Peter 3:12-14 KJV)

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places . . . Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” (Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV)
Though one’s passions be aroused, and the desire to harm a fellow man be strong (as retribution for an unspeakable act of evil), one must resist such temptation, for vengeance is the Lord’s alone. No violation of a commandment in stone can be more clear; “Thou shalt not kill.” (Exodus 20:13 KJV) There are no exceptions to this rule for man.

Do not be deceived and think that one is doing good by doing evil, for one’s own promise of salvation may be lost while cutting short the time available for redemption of the other. What should be precious souls united, in Christ, in peace, has become godless man, in anger, against fellow man. All to the joy of Lucifer, and his demons of death, deceit, depravity and doubt.

There is no middle ground; either one abhors evil or one is a partaker thereof. “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” (Matthew 12:30 KJV)

Peaceful non-compliance is the example of Christ, the Apostles, and the historical example of millions of loving, martyred Christians.

As recorded in the Holy Bible, love ultimately triumphs over evil. Almighty God ultimately triumphs over the unsaved.

Fearlessly, joyfully, patiently endure to the end, knowing with absolute certainty that peace-loving Christians ultimately are victorious.

May God bless you in your Ministry of Peace.

Christian Peace Movement Members

As true worshippers of Jesus Christ, in the early Apostolic tradition, we neither partake, condone, nor support those individuals or institutions involved in any action contrary to the Gospel of Peace, as taught by Jesus Christ and His disciples. In obedience to God’s Word, when confronted by evil, we fearlessly choose the path of peaceful non-compliance and forgiveness, while accepting God’s will and perfect plan for our lives.

We the people of the Christian faith, followers of both the words and example of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior and Creator — the only begotten Son of God Almighty — who appeared in the flesh, preached a Gospel of Peace, died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, was resurrected, and sits now at the right hand of God His Father, do conscientiously object to any manner of human killing, torture, or violence, and for any reason.

Mindful of the Lord thy God’s commandment, “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13; Romans 13:9 KJV), we fundamentally abhor: abortion, infanticide, capital punishment, mercy killing, lethal force, war, and any other activity which intentionally results in the loss or damage of a precious human life, “made in the image and likeness of God” (Genesis 1:26 KJV).

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:17-21 KJV)

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32-34 KJV)

“. . .Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:34-38 KJV)
